Drag Daddy Productions and The Chicken Coop Theatre Company join forces to bring you their fresh, new take on the epic Andrew Lloyd Weber rock opera, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.
What would happen in 2023 if someone showed up preaching equality for all, offering free healthcare and wanting to feed those stricken with poverty? By many this person would be deemed a hero for the poor and sick. By others, this person might be viewed as a “woke” zealot and be deemed a threat to their power. Decisions would have to be made by all as to which side of the story they would want to be seen on in the end.
With reimagined casting and a current take on the classic musical, Drag Daddy and Chicken Coop are thrilled to bring you JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR this summer at Art Sanctuary. Our diverse, 23-person cast will fill the space with movement and dance telling one of the world’s most famous stories through the lens of our modern age.

This venue does serve alcohol to those with I.D. who are 21 years of age or older; however, all ages are welcome to enjoy the show and any non-alcoholic beverages that may be available for purchase. I.D. will be checked at the door and bracelets or markings will be issued to everyone who enters.
